Blackrock Zoominator Sport Surf Rod 13'6'' 100-170g
BlackRock Zoominator 2G Sport shore fishing rod is built to a very high specification using a 40T Woven Hi-Modulus carbon rapid recovery blank construction. The tip is unground, adding to its rigidity, whereas the butt section remains smooth.
The BlackRock Zoominator 2G Sport has a very pleasing through action with a firm tip going in to a powerful mid and butt section. It is a very good casting rod which gives good performance with a fairly basic style but has plenty in reserve which can be easily tapped into with more advanced casting styles from OTG to pendulum.
Fuji Alconite K-guides compliment the build and the rod is finished in a stunning metallic with matching whippings. the rod is rung for multiplier but the Fuji K-Guides give it a hybrid style which also allows the use of fixed spool reels.
The butt section features an adjustable screw winch reel seat upon a Japanese shrink handle and the same Japanese shrink can be found at the base of the tip section just above the spigot to aid removal even with cold, wet hands.
