Brooms Cross Fishery
Places to visit: Brooms Cross Fishery
On the outskirts of Liverpool Brooms cross fishery offers anglers off all ages a peaceful and secure venue in which to fish at. Primarily it stocks Carp and Coarse fish and has picturesque views across the Alt Valley, over Clieves Hill towards Rivington Pike and across to Ince Blundell Estate.
This fishery is relatively new to the Merseyside area and they have big plans which will excite Anglers. It is planned that there will be tackle hire, on-site coaching, and advice for newcomers to the sport. What we at Taskers Angling really like about this is that newcomers to fishing will be able to learn and develop their skills in a friendly and safe environment. We love to encourage everybody to try and have a go at fishing and we feel this is the perfect place to do so.
As mentioned the fishery stocks Carp and Coarse fish. In terms of Carp you can look for that in Owl Tree Pond which is a one acre canal style water. Perfect for matches, pleasure fishermen and beginners alike. You can also night fish on this lake as well. For Coarse fishing you will have to register with the fishery in order to book your sessions with them. Prices vary so it is best to check their website in order to find out more.
We are proud to promote local fisheries and we feel Brooms Cross offers all Anglers an excellent opportunity to be able to go and improve their skills. We would also recommend it to young people who are starting out, more information on teaching kids to fish is available on our website. If you have any queries on what equipment you should be looking at then feel free to come into our Liverpool store or ring us on 01512606015.
