Shipping policy
All our packages are sent out on a direct sign basis, We do not recommend leaving in a safe place or changing any of our delivery options with your order. If you do you will be accepting responsibility for the correct delivery/security and delivered condition of your order. Please read all the below for more information.
We aim to deliver everything within 24-48 hours, If you have ordered something and do not have it within say 4 days there is an issue with your delivery, You must have informed us if you have not had your delivery within 10 days of your order date, anything over 10 days and we will not be able to assist you and you may loose your item.
Please note you will need a printer or have use of a printer in order to take advantage of our Free Return Labels which are issued only if the item we have sent is incorrect or has developed a fault in the first 30 days of the order date.
Please also Note, CHECK your delivery address is correct, You the customer are liable for items that have gone missing due to incorrect delivery addresses put on orders, Our systems are automatic so what you type goes onto the box and to the shipping company. Missing house numbers, road names or wrong postcodes will result in either the box being delivered to the wrong address or you item going back to a main delivery hub. Where it could get damaged or lost.
Shipping Companies will not cover the total cost in either of these cases and could easily result in only a £25.00/£50 credit and weeks of delays.
Incorrect addresses on orders could also delay delivery by up to 3 weeks, if your parcel is being held in a main hub.
What to do if you realise you have used the wrong address or typed it in wrong.
-Email customerservise@taskers-angling.co.uk straight away (regardless if you have already spoken to us by phone)
-If you have not received an email confirmation that the address has been changed within an hour of your email. Please call 01512606015 10am -4pm
-Then CHECK the shipping notification that is then sent to you, if this is showing the wrong address get back in contact with ourselves ASAP.
Leaving in safe place or leaving with a neighbour:
All our deliveries are sent out on a direct sign basis, so unless you request the item to be left with a neighbour or in a safe place or have an existing agreement with a driver to leave your package. (please note: if you have on a previous delivery asked for an item to be left in a specific place & the driver then does the same for a later delivery, this will count as you have requested a leave safe, for any future delivery also.) This is something a lot of people do not realise.
If you request a leave with neighbour or leave safe, We will be unable to assist you further and the driver will be allowed discretion (delivery person will be able to decide what is safe and what is not safe with the delivery.
Shortages & Damaged Items upon delivery.
If you have received a delivery and something is damaged or missing, you MUST inform ourselves via email customerservice@taskers-angling.co.uk within 5 working days of delivery. Shortages, missing items, missing parts, damaged items can not be claimed for after this period.
Refused or none collected deliveries.
Please note if you refuse an order once we have shipped it or fail to pick up an order from a drop off location, including drop off boxes. There may be a fee of £12.50 deducted from your refund once your item has been returned to ourselves. DPD and parcel force will attempt delivery twice before returning it to ourselves. You can use the DPD app or Parcel Force APP to change or organise your delivery if needed.
Cancelation
If you want to cancel your order or make changed this is NOT a problem, however we aim to have picked, packed and shipped your order normally within 1 hour of receiving your order. If it has been pick ed, Packed and booked in for delivery we can still change the item or amend the order but we can not cancel the shipping.
This will mean you will either still receive the item and you will need to return it to be exchanged or refunded at your cost. Or we may be able to pull it from the shipping pallets but we will be unable to refund postage costs & shipping notifications may still be sent showing delivery dates/times ect & your package may stay showing confirmed or missing on the tracking portal/site or app.
We will ship your order via the method you have selected during checkout,
Please note dispatch times may vary, Christmas, Easter and around bank holidays orders normally take a day or two more than expected.
Long items, bulky items & heavy items even if next day is selected may take an extra day to arrive,
Click and collect
For all click and collect orders, you will need to show us you confirmation email/provide the number from it,
Click and collect orders not collected within 72hours will be automatically refund, these refunds may take up to 48 hours to appear on you account. Plus a £5.00 restocking fee will be deducted.
Missing/ Lost items
In the rare occasions that parcels go missing or can not be located, we reserve the right for a 10 day investigation period, starting from when you have first informed us via Email customerservice@taskers-angling.co.uk . By purchasing from ourselves you agree to help with our investigation if we require further information, while we try to resolve the issue.
Once the investigation is over, we will aim to have new goods dispatched or a refund given within 4 days.
Damaged Packages.
If a package has been received and is open or damaged you must be sure to sign for it damaged (during covid ask the driver to sign for it damaged and show you). Then you need to take a photo and email it over to customerservices@taskers-angling.co.uk straight away so we can open a case for you.
All packages we ship out are on direct sign basis, if you request a package to be left in a safe place or with a neighbour you are then taking responsibility for this package and its delivered condition and we will be unable to claim on your behalf with the delivery company.
Incorrect Delivery Selected
We try to keep our shipping as clear as possible, however if the wrong shipping has been selected for your area or you are shipping outside of the UK Mainland then we will send you a invoice for the difference or we will cancel your order at our discretion.
Please NOTE we do not ship anything longer than 1m outside the UK, Ireland North & South is NOT classed as UK Mainland and also Scottish Highlands and Islands, these will be charged at a higher rate and we will let you know before shipping.
Failed Deliveries:
If we have shipped your order out for delivery and you miss the first delivery, the delivery company will either leave it at your local pick up point or return your delivery to the depo. They will in this case try to redeliver one more time.
If you have had two or more failed deliveries and your delivery is returned to ourselves.
We will refund your order less original postage and less £15.00 return postage.
